A new design is coming soon... 12:39 AM

For the past few days, I've been working on a new design for my blog. I've been perusing many "blog design" sites for ideas. And I came up with one that seems OK. Maybe it's because I've been looking at it so much that it's hard to get an objective opinion. Anyway, I went as far as coding it in XHTML and CSS but I'm thinking about going back to Photoshop and coming up with another design. The coding part of it came out great (it even passed the W3C validator!). I'd feel more comfortable if I had a backup design.

The next step (although not too difficult) will be to implement all of the Movable Type code so that my entries and such come out the way they should. The code can get a little tricky sometimes but nothing to worry about. The only thing I'm debating is whether to utilize the Twitter section. I really don't use Twitter all that much but it's cool to have that feed functionality there.

In terms of a launch date, I'm really not sure yet. I could probably launch it now but if I do come up with an alternate design, I might have to push it till another time. With the primary design, I could probably have the new files uploaded by the end of the week.

So, that's it! Once everything is done, I'm going to make a concerted effort to update this blog on a regular basis. It's probably best that I should, just to make all this effort worthwhile.
